This course is for all levels of experience of yoga. It's a great class to help you stay fit and mobile, it will help with relaxation, reduce aches and pains, and help maintain muscle strength and general fitness.

For the first session students will need;   a  blanket , we do have some yoga mats available to use, or you can bring your own along.

This yoga class offers a gentle, low impact form of exercise ideal for older age groups.

The course will cover  A warm up to prepare your body for the class.  The stretch phase will cover all the gentle yoga poses, working on different areas of your body.  Breathing techniques and relaxation at the end of the class so you can fully concentrate.

Please also complete the health questionnaire and bring it with you to the first session if you haven't done one previously

Sue Knight

Sue has been a qualified adult education tutor since 1988 having taught a variety of subjects in the local area including weaving and other textile techniques, keep fit and facilitating equal opportunity and diversity workshops. She is British Wheel of Yoga trained, having completed the Foundation course and the Teachers Diploma course.
