This course is for;– beginners

For the first session students will need;   yoga mat and blanket, we have a few yoga mats available to borrow.

The course will cover;

Development of the roots to prepare you for your yoga journey, in this 12 week introduction to yoga series, you will learn basics of yoga philosophy, sun salutations, standing poses, and gentle backbends. You will also be taught how to modify poses so that you can confidently attend mixed level classes while keeping yourself safe.  Class size is limited allowing for individual attention and questions.  

By the end of the course students should be able to - have knowledge of main yoga postures and be able to integrate into a variety of classes with confidence.

Maisy Gilbert

Hi, I’m Maisy and I will be teaching vinyasa flow yoga classes. Yoga is the perfect way to unwind and relieve stress. Yoga helps me to find calm and I want to share this with you.

I started attending yoga classes as not only do they make the body feel incredible but also make the mind feel just as good. I fell in love with yoga as soon as I tried it, after attending dance classes for many years. I did yoga alongside my university degree and it helped me to unwind.

I then went on to train to be a yoga instructor and have a 200 hour qualification in vinyasa flow.

Since graduating I have been teaching classes at a gym, holding my own classes in studios and at work for staff.

I believe yoga is a great way to relax and de stress, also to build resilience, it has been a huge part of my life and i believe it could be a huge part of yours too.
