Pilates is a low-impact workout effective at strengthening, lengthening and toning your muscles through controlled, repetitive movements.

This course will teach you that there are many advantages to incorporating Pilates into your workout routine from increased strength to improved mobility and posture. 

Pilates is a great foundation to any type of movement you do and can be used at any phase of life. Whether you are an older adult just starting to exercise, an elite athlete or somewhere in between, the focus on building core strength, proper alignment and the mind-body connection makes Pilates accessible to everyone.

Lydia Petch

Hi everyone I’m Lydia, I am a fully certified Pilates instructor from Harrogate. My background is in professional dance where I'm trained in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz and many more. Dance has been part of my life since I was 6 years old and plays a huge part in the way I teach. From my years of training I take pride in technique and aim to teach all my students to move with control and precision whilst having a good time and connecting with their own breath and body. I have practiced Pilates myself for years and have a huge passion for it and I now teach classes all around Harrogate including; David Lloyd, Nuffield and Pure Fitness Rooms. I am super excited to be a tutor here at Rossett and hope you all fall in love with Pilates practice as much as I have.
