Japanese Upper Elementary

This course is suitable for students who have knowledge of Hiragana & Katakana and basic expressions, like time, days of a week, and verbs in daily life. For the example;  「nichiyōbi no asa kuji ni kaimono ni ikimasu」(I go shopping at 9 o’clock on Sunday morning).

 

During the course you will learn to:

 

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases, aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
• Ask and answer simple questions in areas on familiar topics like daily life.
• Make a short speech about yourself.
• learn very basic kanji.
• Introduce Japanese culture, e.g. daily life of Japanese, seasonal events.
• Understand dates, basic verbs on daily life and basic particle.

 

 The course is centered around conversation practice. We also will welcome you if you would like to brush up your speaking ability after you have learnt for a certain period of time.
