This fun and sociable course is ideal if you have some cooking experience and would like to gain new skills and ideas for cooking in the cooler months.

With expert guidance, each week you will make and take-home delicious food that will extend your knowledge and build your ability to create your own impressive and tasty dishes. Dishes can be altered to your own tastes and will based on 2 servings or as appropriate.

We will be making a mix of savoury and sweet dishes to include: chocolate roulade, tart au citron, coq au vin, red cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes plus dishes  to give you new ideas to try.

To help and guide you in the future you will have a copy of all recipes we use together with ideas to adapt them to meet personal taste, dietary requirements and budget.

Some basic ingredients will be provided but you will need to bring in the easily sourced ingredients for each dish.

Following a successful career in Catering Anne pursued a long held ambition and achieved a degree and PGCE becoming a secondary school Food and Textiles teacher. Anne has enjoyed many years teaching in local schools seeing students develop their cooking ability and achieving exam results to be proud of. Anne is looking forward to supporting students to enjoy learning to cook new things, gain confidence and develop this life skill which is so important for health, wellbeing and budget.
