A little bit about the course:
During this course students will cook a range of dishes (sweet and savoury) from different countries around the world focusing on one country per class. This class is a fun and sociable way to develop new cooking skills, gain confidence in the kitchen, expand their palate to a wider range of flavours and enhance a love for cooking all whilst socialising with others who share the same interest!
This class is suitable for all skill levels. The classes will begin with an introduction to the basic skills needed to cook the dishes so even students with minimal cooking experience or confidence are welcome to attend.
With guidance from the tutor the students each week will prepare, cook, and present dishes which can be taken home and enjoyed! Recipes will be provided but dishes can be altered to meet dietary needs or preferences, guidance can be sought from the tutor before attending the lesson.
You will be required to bring easily sourced ingredients for each dish and a container to take it home in. To help you cook the dishes again at home copies of all recipes made will be provided at the end of the lesson. If required guidance on how to alter them to meet personal taste, dietary needs or budgeting can be given.
