coll 3 A chance to try out a simple yet delightful print process.

This is one you could easily try at home once you’ve learnt some basic techniques on this day course. Using collage to make a plate we will then work with relief and intaglio processes to make rich and textured pictures.

No printing experience required.

Shaeron will provide some ideas for designs but please feel free to bring your own ideas for images that you would like to make.

Shaeron Caton Rose

I am an artist working mainly in Printmaking and Installation and have exhibited across Yorkshire for about 30 years. I have a degree and an MA in Printmaking and have a wide print knowledge including linocut, collagraph, drypoint, silkscreen, lithograph, and textiles printing. I have taught painting, drawing and print to adults for many years in Leeds, Bradford and Knaresborough. I work part time as a Workshop Leader in Printmaking at Henshaw’s Arts & Crafts Centre and as a Social Artist, delivering community art projects in Bradford and Leeds. I also run Art & Wellbeing retreats with fellow artist Linda Baines as part of ReCreate. I write a monthly online art meditation for Leeds Methodist Mission and have also written a book Soul Art which will be published by Wild Goose Publications in 2021.
